John Bell, CONGREGATION Engagement Director
Hello everyone! As of November 2016, I am joining the Good Shepherd team in the newly created role Congregation Engagement Director. I am originally from Ham Lake, MN, and lived there until I began attending Concordia College in 2011. I graduated in 2015 with my Bachelor of Music degree, majoring in Music Theory and Composition. I then went on to work for the campus pastor’s office at Concordia for a year and the Synod Office for over two years.
My dream for this new position is to meet with every person I can and make sure that they’re plugged into a ministry that they are passionate about and that utilizes their skills for the glory of God. I am so glad that the Holy Spirit has led me to Good Shepherd to continue my service in ministry. If I have not met you, please come up and say hi before or after worship, give me a call, send me an email, or stop by my office. I love meeting new people!
Some fun facts about me: I am a flute player and was the Principal Flute for three years in the Concordia Orchestra, playing for the Concordia Christmas Concert every year. I also teach piano lessons in the evenings to many great young minds! I also love listening to podcasts, so if you have a good one that you know of, please tell me!
I hope to meet you all soon!
