BLAST is the Get-Together of the summer! Our Children’s Ministry
Team has selected Augsburg’s Baobab Blast—God’s Great
Get-Together as our Vacation Bible School theme for this year.
TRUST LOVE FOLLOW CARE SHARE
The great baobab tree in the expansive African savannah is the setting.
This exciting get-together has something for everyone in the community
to LOVE. Kids will be creating, running, jumping, and FOLLOWing with action-packed
games; singing amazing new songs; and SHARE-ing the good news with everyone
they meet. TRUST us, this is the VBS you don’t want to miss! It’s
about being part of a community, CARE-ing for others, learning about the
Bible, and having fun, of course!
Watch the Shepherd’s Voice for dates to help decorate. We will
be turning Good Shepherd into the African Savannah! Please give Janis
a call at 233-4980 if you have things to share. Please be sure to mark
everything you want returned.
We also need financial help. Jonathon the Giraffe is
going to help us raise money for VBS teaching materials. He has lost his
“spots.” You can help him by purchasing a “spot.”
This can be monetary or by purchasing something from our Supply List.
Every year the costs for supplies and materials go up. What better way
to share your time, talents and money than to invest in the spiritual
development of one of “God’s Kids”?
