Music Opportunities at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd Judy Sanders, Director of Music Ministries

There are many opportunities for you to participate in music activities at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. Below is a list of Vocal Choirs, Bell Choirs and the Worship Band.

-Are you 4-100 years old?

Choirs
If you answered YES to any of the above questions, Good Shepherd has a choir for you! All the choirs are made up of volunteers and welcome everyone to join them at anytime. Please consider joining a choir and "praising the Lord with everything that has life and breath. See below for a list of choirs.

Bells
Have you ever seen the Salvation Army Bell ringers at Christmas time? Do you ever wonder how the bell ringers in church know what bell to play when? Do you just like the sound of the bells? Would you like to be part of a group where each member is so important that when one is missing the group can not perform. If you've asked yourself these questions or had any other questions about handbells, we have three handbell choirs for you to come and play in. See below for a list of bell choirs.

Worship Band
Members of all ages comprise the Worship Band (aka ‘Holy Smoke’) as instrumentalists, vocalists, and sound technicians. Rehearsals are Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. The band will lead worship the second and fourth Sunday of every month at the 10:30 a.m. service. Click Here for more Info

Choir Practice
Little Lambs Ages 4-5 AND Grades 1-2 Wednesdays at 5:45-6:15 p.m.
Singing Shepherds Grades 3-6 Wednesdays at 5:45-6:15 p.m.
Senior Choir Wednesdays at 6:15-7:15 p.m.
Youth Choir Grades 7 and up To Be Announced

Bells Practice
Rainbow Ringers Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m.
Chancel Bells Adults Mondays at 5:30 p.m.
