Lenten Dinners—It’s that time of year again . .

Lenten Dinners! The money raised from Lenten Dinners will go towards gatherings
and summer trips for our youth. The menus for the dinners are:
March 3 Sloppy Joes, chips,
salad, & dessert
March 10 Pizza, salad, & dessert
March 17 Baked potatoes with toppings,
salad, & dessert
March 24 Lasagna, salad, & dessert
Cost:
$4.00 for Adults
$2.00 for Age 12 and under
$12.00 for Families
We will start serving at 5:00 pm and continue until 6:15 p.m.

Mission Trip Meetings . . .

• Mission Jamaica Senior High at Hope South, March 22, 7:00 p.m.

Scholarship Opportunities for Seniors—Seniors
who are interested in applying for the Seth Nelson Memorial Scholarship
should pick up applications in the church office. Two $500 scholarships
will be available. The application deadline is March 15.
You also have the opportunity of applying for the Ueland Memorial Scholastic
Award. Three scholarships will be awarded: 1st place is for $1,000, 2nd
place is for $750, and the 3rd place scholarship is for $500. All scholarships
are awarded to those students who will be attending a Christian college.
The application deadline is April 1. Watch for additional information
on when other scholarship applications are available.
Little League Pool Party—Sunday, March 28th @
AmericInn—4:30-6:30 pm!—Break out your swimsuits and towels!
The 1st-5th grade kids and parents will be having a Pool Party! We are
also ordering pizza for supper. We will have some of our older high school
students who are lifeguard certified to be at the pool at all times. There
will be a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board across from the classrooms
in the hallway. Cost for the event is $5. One last thing...Cannon Ball!
3-5 year olds—Easter Egg Hunt—Come and
help us track down the Easter Bunny on March 27 from 10:00-11:30 a.m.
and find all the eggs he left behind! We will be making a bag/basket to
collect the eggs in that can be brought home. Bring a friend! Also sign
up on the Youth & Family Ministries bulletin board. Contact Stacey
Holm or me with any questions.
Middle School Retreat / Lock-in . . .
Friday, March 12 – Saturday, March 13
We’ll gather at the church at 8 p.m. Friday evening for a movie
and activities. Saturday morning we will do service project work in the
community. Saturday’s day will conclude at noon. We will also need
adult volunteers to help supervise Friday night and transport youth on
Saturday to and from our service project work. Watch for more updates
closer to the event date! Again, remember to invite your friends to this
event!
