Middle Schoolers . . . Please put the following date
on your calendar for next year’s mission trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee:
July 31-August 7. This trip is for students completing 7th, 8th, and 9th
grade during the 2010-2011 school year. Look for a sign-up sheet on the
Youth & Family Ministries bulletin board. Tentative cost for the trip
is $500.
Senior High Youth—Check out our Facebook group
titled “Good Shepherd YOUTH.” I have suggestions for next
year’s trip and need your input as soon as possible!
As with all Good Shepherd events/trips, we encourage you to invite friends
to participate. Watch for more details in September about trip costs,
upcoming meetings, and a lot more details!
Youth Group—All middle school and high school students
will want to be involved in Good Shepherd’s Youth Groups that will
begin in September.
Middle School Youth Group (6th-8th grades) will
meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
High School Youth Group (9th-12th grades) will
meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Homeless and Hungry—Put the weekend of October
16-17, 2010 on your calendar. Good Shepherd will once again be participating
in the Homeless and Hungry event this fall. A kick-off concert by MercyMe
is scheduled in Fargo for Friday, September 3, at 7:00 p.m. at First Assembly
of God. If you would like to attend the concert only, tickets are $30
(with $12 to be donated to the Homeless & Hungry cause), or as a participant
you pay $30 ($15 for the concert and $15 for your registration fee).
If you are unable to attend the concert, registration for the Homeless
and Hungry weekend is $15. See the sign-up sheet on the Youth & Family
Ministries bulletin board. This event is for families and youth of Good
Shepherd.
