Helping Hands
The 18th Annual Pancake Feed was as delicious as ever! I don’t know
all the extra “things” that Walt Stenson adds to the mix,
but they sure are light and fluffy! We served around 600 people and used
45 gallons of batter. The Silent Auction was also a success. Thanks to
ALL of the volunteers who helped. Thanks also to Linda Bartholome, our
Youth Director, and the amazing group of young people who helped in so
many ways. We donated $750 to their Youth Trip Budget. It was a great
social event...for everyone! Thanks to all who came!
Our December/January projects were as follows:
• Pancake Feed planning & preparation
• Organizing the Silent Auction
• Final preparations for our new digital sign
• Eddie Gudmundson cut dowels for our Nazareth Toy Shop.
• Designing and planning the 2012 Lenten project
As always, we meet every Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Ken Lee picks
up doughnuts for us, and someone always gets the coffee going. Come and
join us. You’re always welcome!
