Get ready for a “Voyage Thru God’s Word!”
In 2010, we are going to begin a trip that will last a lifetime!
It’s a journey through the Bible. God’s word is our guide
for all of our lives. So, let the Voyage begin!
There are two choices for OASIS:
Sunday Morning: 9:30 a.m. - Faith Weavers (Age 3-Grade 5)
Wednesday: 7:00 p.m. - Group’s Bible Max (Grades 1-5)
Rally Sunday is September 12th.
Rally Wednesday is September 15th.
If you have turned in your registration, you will receive your child’s
nametag and room assignments in a few days. You will also receive information
on Rally Sunday! It’s going to be a great day.
If you have NOT registered your child, or if you are new to the congregation,
please call Janis Eidsness at the Children’s Ministry Office (233-4980).
There will be a registration table in the hallway by the kitchen on Rally
Sunday and Rally Wednesday. You can pick up a registration form there.
(I need to have a current form on file with the latest medical information,
addresses and phone numbers.) Thank you.
OASIS Teachers and Staff
Installation of OASIS and Confirmation Teachers will take place at both
services on Sunday morning, Sept. 12, and on Wednesday evening, Sept.
15. Jayne Coté and Linda Andvik have organized a crew to serve
Brunch to the teachers on Rally Day! We will have our staff training at
that time. Please be watching for more information.
Three-Year-Old Milestone Celebration
Thursday, September 9, 2010—7:00 p.m. in the CLC
Who is invited? All preschool children who will be 3 years old by Sept.
1, 2010 and will be starting OASIS (Sunday School) for the first time.
The children will receive a certificate of graduation from the Cradle
Roll and they will get a “taste” of what OASIS Church School
is all about. It is a fun night. You won’t want to miss it. (Moms,
dads, and siblings are also invited.)

Third Grade Milestone Orientation / Mini Bible
Retreat
Saturday, October 2, 2010—3:00 p.m.
This is for the 3rd graders AND their parents (You’ll receive
more information closer to the date.) Sunday, October 3rd, and Wednesday,
October 6th, the Women of the ELCA will present the third grade children
with their new Hands On Bibles!
